Abstract

|
|
Effects of taurine on the cell-viability and antioxidative activity in human melanoma cells(SK-MEL-2) was investigated. Cell viavility was decreased up to 40% 12 hr after treatment of taurine. The activities of superoxide dismutase and catalase was increased by treatment of taurine, while the activity of glutathione peroxidase was less changed.
